Background
Established in 2002, West Indies Exiles invitational sevens team is the brainchild of 3 rugby enthusiasts who had the pleasure to represent their 'Homeland' in the IRB World Series Sevens. Out of this great friendship and now a fast improving rugby team has grown, despite vast expanses of oceans and the quagmire of the M25 separating us.
Success is a must on the pitch and our list of scalps grows every tournament. Most notably Leicester Tigers have been put to the sword!
Above all else we play sunshine rugby with a smile and a certain degree of panache. On the pitch we are making friends, off the pitch we are all friends, with each islander bringing their own style of rugby and camaraderie. Proceedings are always helped with a liberal splash of rum!
